Our planters have been designed with all weather conditions in mind, they are created out of a slow grown structural graded timber. The planters have an internal foot which raises them off the ground by 20mm preventing ground water penetration which creates airflow around the base adding further protection against the elements and also creating our Floating Illusion Signature look. We can attach Heavy Duty Castors to the planters for you, there is an option for this when selecting the size you require.
The base of the planters are slatted with a pressure treated timber, this allows for natural drainage which is essential for a healthy yield.
There is an option to add a false base in your trough, the standard height of these will be half way down your planter.
The planters are lined with a waterproof membrane creating a vapour barrier between the back of the planter and the wet soil, the base of the planters DO NOT need lined as they have natural drainage.

Our product are finished with two coats of Cuprinol Garden Shades paint which includes the new wax technology offering 6 years weather protection from manufacture. Providing the timber care is upkept within this time frame the items are guaranteed for the length of ownership.
We also offer any product in bespoke RAL numbers for an additional fee.
